My Top 3 "Must Eat" Lobster Joints near Acadia National Park

Two words: Stretchy pants. You’re going to need them after all the lobstah Maine has to offer. Specifically near Acadia National Park. Did you wear stretchy pants to hike? Or did you wear stretchy pants to eat everything in sight? The world will never know! So don’t be shellfish, keep reading on to find out my top 3 places to eat lobster near Acadia National Park.

1.) Trenton Bridge Lobster Pound: If I had one word to describe this busy, roadside lobster pound it would without a doubt be ‘fresh’. You literally pick the live lobster you want from the tank and they cook it up for you right then and there. So, grab your melted butter, tie your bib, and get crackin’

2.) Stewman’s Lobster Pound: Located right in the heart of downtown Bar Harbor, Stewman’s not only has an excellent lobster roll, but they also have super friendly folks working there. On a clear day, the view is great because it is right on the water! Check out the blueberry mojito and clam chowder also!

3.) Charlotte’s Legendary Lobster Pound: Don’t let the port-o-potty and little picnic tables deter you. This little shack off the side of the road will surprise you. It did take a while to get our food, but boy was it worth it! This was the most loaded lobster roll we had. It was massive!

I want to hear from you! Do you have any other “must eat” places near Acadia??

Xoxo,

Em
