Thanks to elementary school history class, I’m sure the Cape of Good Hope is one of the first things that comes to mind when you hear “South Africa”. That and the notorious safaris searching for critters that we normally only get to see behind bars in the zoo. Well, I am here to tell you, while those things are pretty incredible, South Africa ticks off a lot of other boxes too. It is a country that boasts some of the best wine in the world, a country where somehow you’re in a big city, but you’re surrounded by nature, a country where camping means unzipping your tent to warthogs.
Even though I was only there for a short time, it was easy to fall in love with everything South Africa has to offer, which is why it should definitely be on the top of your bucket list.
