[Water]falling in Love with Niagara Falls!
We got up early this morning for our long drive from Vermont to Niagara Falls, New York. We were driving along the road in Vermont when we randomly spotted a camel on the side of the road. A CAMEL. In Vermont. I was in awe! We couldn’t find a moose but of course we found a camel.
Seven hours later we made it to Niagara Falls! It was an even more beautiful, powerful, and massive waterfall than you could ever imagine. We started off by doing the “Maids of the Mist” tour where we went down an elevator, received a bright blue poncho, and boarded the boat. We held on to the railing while we approached the falls and felt the strong mist on the American side. We then approached the Canadian part of the falls and it was no longer mist, but straight up water. We got SOAKED! It reminded me of running through the sprinkler when I was younger. After we disembarked the boat, we climbed up stairs leading straight to the falls. It’s safe to say my Birkenstocks are probably ruined. Oops. We then took the elevator back up and walked along the top of the falls to dry off.
