Next Stop: Bed, Bath, and Beyond! (minus the bed) Bath, England is home to freshly made ice-cream and the Roman Baths. I got to unleash my inner nerd here because we talked about the Roman Baths a million times back in my highschool Latin days. So actually seeing them and being able to determine what each room was used for felt like a success. The Baths in general were a lot prettier on the eyes than I had imagined-- Stunning ancient architecture and teal water that was calling my name to jump in. Too bad it was 120 degrees so we would have burned up to a crisp if we took a dip. So you could say I was grateful that my klutzy self didn’t slip on the slick tile around the bath! The last part of exploring the Baths was to taste the mineral water, which supposedly has magical healing powers. I can best describe this as tasting like when you go to the dentist and swallow a little bit of blood and water. Yep. Just like that. Or how Kelly describes it as when she used to suck on my mom’s jewelry when she was younger.
