Drakensburg Bound
Ahh! I feel refreshed sleeping in a real bed for the second night in a row! AND we woke up to a legit breakfast. There was bacon, eggs, sausage, pancakes, fruit, hot chocolate, you name it! It was divine!
Following a heavenly breakfast we were on our way to Drakensburg (the mountains!).
Drakensburg campsite is SO nice. We are basically in a gated in area that is a nice resort, but we are camping at the resort. BUT we get to use all their amenities! They have trampolines, putt putt, a HUGE outdoor pool with a giant waterslide, and an indoor heated pool and jacuzzi. Are we still in Africa? Once our tents were up we ran to the trampolines to jump on them. I always love doing kid like things! :) I did fall and scrap my knee though, but it was worth it! Then we put on our bathing suits and went to the pool. I went down the FREEZING cold slide, just because it was cool, but then we all made our way into the jacuzzi. The guys went and got some drinks for us and we hung out in there until we were prunes. After the pool we went back to our campsite and Cardi made us chicken stew over rice. Yummy! Then we all had an early night. Kaede Ray tried to tame the cats! haha
