Jo'burg, South Africa
I’ve never been so happy to see land! Once we landed we met our driver to take us to Mo'Afrika Lodge. It was about a 45 min drive from the airport. Upon our arrival we were greeted by 2 tubby rottweilers named George & Bush (lolz). It made me miss Wilson and Barron too much! After my squealing went on, We gathered all our bags and made our way through the sliding glass door.

The place had bamboo-like ceilings and walls- pretty cool. All of the students (9 of us) stayed in one room which was dorm style. There were 2 bunk beds and 5 other beds. Once we got settled (as much as we could for staying there only 2 nights), our professors got us food to eat at the lodge. We ordered “Nandos” a fast food restaurant in S. Africa. It was delish! We had rotisserie chicken and wedge fries. The fries had some orange seasoning on it which tasted like seasoning on Zaxbys fries. YUM. Following dinner we checked our internet because we know in a couple days we wont have it. Some people went to bed after that while others of us stayed up to play the game “Heads up!” It is only the best game ever. It is where one person is holding up the ipad which has a word on it and the other people looking at act out the word until the person guesses it and then the game goes on. We played it for hours until we knew we needed to go to bed before getting up bright and early to see Jo'burg in the morn.
